HOOD Dreaming is a regenerative concept and practice that reimagines a supportive environment for parents working in the arts who navigate their dual responsibilities as artists and caregivers.

What happens when a practice of sustaining life is recontextualized in an art space? What changes when an act shifts from necessity to intention? Many forms of maintenance, support, and attentiveness unfold unnoticed, woven into everyday rhythms. What do they become once they are made visible? Through which forms can they appear? What rhythms define these practices?

Who Cares? invites staff and representatives of art and cultural institutions as well as artists to explore how care can become part of institutional practice. Together with Miriam Wistreich, Director of UKS, Oslo (Young Artists' Society) the Sharing Session examines how institutions can better support artist-parents and other caregivers through practical tools - specifically through care riders.

HOOD Dreaming is an audio composition practice that talks about the impossible, the necessary, and the not-yet-real, and imagines worlds in which parents and caregivers are comprehensively supported.

Gezeigt wird der Video-Essay The Future is Near (in the neighbourhood) der ehemaligen kex—residents Natalia Matsenko und Yuri Yefanov. Ergänzend dazu gibt es Beiträge von Sebastian Sattlecker und Ida Zahradnik.

Die Kuratoren Dorian Bonelli und Frederik Marroquín führen durch die Ausstellung.
