WUK performing arts

WUK performing arts, as one of four program divisions of WUK Kultur, presents a variety of formats in the WUK Saal, the Foyer, the Projektraum, sometimes the inner courtyard and repeatedly also the urban space outside the former locomotive factory at Währinger Straße 59. We thus create visibility for a lively independent dance and performance scene and are particularly interested in interdisciplinary formats at the interfaces of dance, performance, installation, lecture, concert, party, video art and site-specific works. Our program reflects the ideas and themes of a major international city, its inhabitants and its artists. We trace these, help to shape them and let them take effect in the spaces of the WUK.
