Full outdoor shot of a group of people standing on a sidewalk in front of a large, light-beige stone building with many windows and intricate architectural details. The sidewalk is paved with gray and brown stone. A circular, reddish-brown brick area forms a border around a patch of fallen leaves and debris. Several people are standing or walking on the sidewalk, varying in attire and activities. Some are wearing winter hats and jackets, while others are wearing coats and jeans. Some people appear to be looking at landmarks or interacting with each other. A young adult is wearing a tan jacket and jeans and appears to be using a smartphone. The building is significantly tall and wide, with many windows and layers of stonework. The building features a mix of light beige and grayish stone, and regular, decorative patterns. The general style suggests a formal or historic building. The lighting suggests an overcast day, with soft but clear visibility. The colors are subdued but natural.

Awareness Walk Diary

Performative walk, mode of awareness (awareness walk) with Marin Shamov.

The walk goes from Kunsthalle Exnergasse to AKH. During the walk participants are invited to do movement and voice collective/ pair practices to inhabit and explore the space, then walk back to the exhibition space and do the archiving practice in the form of the “awareness diary”  which will then become part of the exhibition.

With a support of performative practices as a method the focus of the walk is to raise our awareness of where our attention is, from what position and what we are looking at, what we are thinking about and how it connects with our daily routine and spaces where we are.

The walk is held in English.

Full outdoor shot of a grayscale image, likely a vintage photograph or film frame. The foreground shows a beach or sandy area. Several indistinct human figures are clustered together, lying or positioned in a way that suggests activity of some kind. The figures lack clear detail, appearing as light or dark shapes against the surrounding sand or water. The scene is somewhat blurred or grainy with a noticeable texture, typical of older photography or scans of film. The overall tonal range is muted, consisting primarily of grays, with subtle variations in shading. No distinct coloration is present. The background is a similar muted gray tone extending out of view, lacking any contrasting light or shadow that would make the figures especially noticeable.
