Grant for artist / research residency
Beginning in 2012, the Kunsthalle Exnergasse (KEX) awards grants for artist / research residencies, respectively of one to three months. From 2012 to 2019, residents were invited to work at the KEX Studio, a studio at WUK, in collaboration with the Workshop Sector (WSB), member of the WUK organisation. Since 2020 KEX is collaborating with the project "Zukunftshof" at the former Haschahof on Vienna's urban periphery—an inspiring place for artist residencies, site-specific artistic interventions, collaborations, and presentations.
The selection of the residents takes place in a constant cooperation with national and international institutions and groups from the broader field of innovative artistic practice and research.
KEX Dependance is the temporary outpost of Kunsthalle Exnergasse at the Zukunftshof/Haschahof in Rothneusiedl on the southern periphery of Vienna.
