Brachenkunde Vol. 01

As part of the exhibition building < against, Olivia Golde will be hosting the zine workshop “Brachenkunde Vol. 01” (registration required).

Following an international call for artistic/political contributions on brownfield sites in urban areas, we will review the submissions together, create our own contributions, and then collectively print and bind the zines. We plan to have a Riso printer in the room. So there are many possibilities: reading together, writing, making collages, printing, and trying out simple binding techniques. At the end, we can all take a few zines home with us and give them to our friends.

Send me an email at januschkewitz@riseup.net to register. Write your name. Write what you need in order to come. For example: I need simple language. Or: If it takes place indoors, please let us wear masks. This will help us plan better. We will provide drinks and snacks.
 

building < against refers to the non-conformist production of space, resistant buildings, protest architectures, autonomous and functionally open architectures, the preservation and cultivation of places, radical reconstructions. And even more radical practices of not building at all.
