Der Workshop wird von Liv Schellander & Agnes Schneidewind geleitet.
Der Workshop findet in deutscher Sprache statt. Bei Bedarf kommt auch Englisch zum Einsatz.

Inhalt
Können wir uns vorstellen, den Boden rund um den Zukunftshof, den Stadtrand Wiens, die Erde unter dem Beton der Stadt – und das Jahr 2125 – zu einem spekulativen Gespräch einzuladen?
Willkommen zu einem eintägigen Workshop in embodied storytelling - im körperlichen Erzählen. Gemeinsam erkunden wir Themen und Bezüge, die vom Zukunftshof und seiner Umgebung ausgehen.
Der Tag beginnt mit einer Einführung und einem sanften Ankommen. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir eine lebende Karte aus Themen und Ideen – inspiriert vom Ort, seiner Geschichte und den Erfahrungen, die die Teilnehmenden mitbringen. Anschließend begeben wir uns in einfache körperliche Erkundungen und verleihen diesen Themen durch Bewegung, Stimme, Sprache und Interaktion Ausdruck und Leben.
Im Workshop erlebst du:
- Einen Einblick in Choreo-Constellating: eine improvisatorische Praxis, die dazu einlädt, komplexe Themen nicht nur kognitiv, sondern über Wahrnehmung, Bewegung und Körperbewusstsein zu erforschen.
- Living Maps: Wir kreieren eine kollektive Sammlung von Themen, Fragen und Ideen und verkörpern diese dann als bewegte Landschaften und kommunizierende Gefäße.
- Playful exploration: Es geht vor allem um Kuriosität und Neugier. Ein Raum zum Lernen, Austauschen und gemeinsamen Gestalten in einer unterstützenden und inspirierenden Atmosphäre.
Ein geführter Spaziergang durch die Umgebung des Zukunftshofs gibt dem Ort selbst Raum, in unseren kreativen Prozess hineinzusprechen. Die angewandte Methode verbindet spielerische Kreativität mit kollektiver Reflexion – und schafft eine Erfahrung irgendwo zwischen Sci-Fi-Spiel, kollektivem Ritual und spontaner Choreografie.
Dieser Workshop ist offen für alle – es sind keine Vorkenntnisse nötig.
Er lädt zur aktiven Teilnahme ein, aber du bist auch herzlich willkommen, einfach nur zu beobachten und dabei zu sein.

Content
Can we imagine inviting the soil around Zukunftshof, the urban edge of Vienna, the earth beneath the city’s concrete – and the year 2125 – into a speculative conversation?
Welcome to a one-day workshop in embodied storytelling. Together, we will explore themes and connections emerging from Zukunftshof and its surroundings.
The day begins with an introduction and a gentle arrival. We’ll collaboratively create a living map of themes and ideas – inspired by the place, its history, and the experiences participants bring. We then move into simple physical explorations, giving expression and life to these themes through movement, voice, language, and interaction.
In the workshop, you will experience:
- An introduction to Choreo-Constellating: an improvisational practice that invites us to explore complex topics not just intellectually, but through perception, movement, and bodily awareness.
- Living Maps: We co-create a collective collection of themes, questions, and ideas, then embody them as moving landscapes and communicating vessels.
- Playful exploration: It’s all about curiosity and wonder. A space for learning, sharing, and co-creating in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere.
A guided walk through the surroundings of Zukunftshof offers the place itself an opportunity to speak into our creative process. The approach blends playful creativity with collective reflection – resulting in an experience somewhere between sci-fi game, collective ritual, and spontaneous choreography.
This workshop is open to everyone – no prior experience is required.
You’re invited to participate actively, but you are also warmly welcome just to observe and be present.
About
Animalarium Dance Collectives’ recent project Animalariums’ Constellations is an artistic concept to enact some of our times’ burning issues – Extinction, Countdowns and Future Dreaming – in an embodied and collective way. The project tours Norway, Sweden and Austria as part of Perform Europe 2025, collaborating with Elle Sofe Company, Ställbergs gruva and WUK Performing Arts Vienna.
Liv Schellander ist Tänzerin/Performerin, Choreografin und Somatic Experiencing®-Praktikerin. Sie arbeitet gerne mit KünstlerInnen in langfristigen Prozessen zusammen. 2025 tourt sie mit ihrer Kollaboration „Animalariums’ Constellations“, die auf der Praxis des Choreo-Constellating basiert. Sie beschäftigt sich zunehmend mit multisensorischem Kunstschaffen und der Ästhetik des Zugangs im Bereich der darstellenden Künste. www.livschellander.com
Liv Schellander is a dancer / performer, choreographer and Somatic Experiencing® practitioner. She loves to collaborate with artists in long-term processes. In 2025 she tours her collaboration Animalariums’ Constellations, that is based on the practice of Choreo-Constellating. She is increasingly engaged in exploring multisensory art making and aesthetics of access in the field of performing arts. www.livschellander.com
Agnes Schneidewind. Ausgehend von somatischen Praktiken des Träumens erforscht Agnes Schneidewind das Zeichnen und Schreiben als performative Instrumente, (be)sucht (kollektive) Arbeitsprozesse, Körper und das Unbewusste als poetische (und responsive) Landschaften. Sie ko-kreiert experimentelle Formate und Performances; das site-spezifische Stück „I want to be delicious for the bear“ (2024) hat sie im arktischen Spitzbergen entwickelt; „through which they have wandered“ (mit Johanna Nielson und Zoumana Méïtè) und „eleven. each print in the mud fills with honey“ (mit Johanna Nielson und Marina Poleukhina) wurden von brut Wien koproduziert. 2017 absolvierte sie das Post-Masterprogramm a.pass (advanced performance and scenography studies) in Brüssel. https://sjnijdewindt.works/
Agnes Schneidewind. Based on somatic practices of dreaming, Agnes Schneidewind explores drawing and writing as performative instruments, (re)examines (collective) work processes, bodies and the unconscious as poetic (and responsive) landscapes.
