Der Betrieb: Your Season!
Your Season! is an open invitation to join a living artistic practice — a hybrid of dance performance, workshop, and community art. Over five weeks, Der Betrieb becomes a choreographic landscape shaped by listening and dialogue. From Thursday to Saturday, five hours each day, visitors are welcome not only to watch the ongoing dance performance but also to participate on their own terms — through dance, sound, writing, or quiet presence.
Together, we explore what it means to tune in — to each other, to difference, to the unknown. Listening and dancing becomes a way of being: a form of care, transformation, and survival.
Der Betrieb
Der Betrieb is an artistic space which opened in October 2022. It is initiated by the Vienna based choreographers, Alexander Gottfarb and Anna Maria Nowak. Der Betrieb was born out of a wish to offer an alternative to commercial spaces: shops, cafes and beauty salons. Der Betrieb is a room for practicing being together, where audience is welcome to enter, for free, and spend their time watching, reflecting and participating in our dance and art making. Until now der Betrieb has hosted six seasons, The Emotional Season (2022), The Democratic Season and Your Season-In search of a common season (2023), The Ritual Season and The Generations Season (2024) and The Season of Sound (2025).

Tickets
"Der Betrieb" kann zu den Öffnungszeiten kostenfrei besucht werden. Es sind weder Tickets noch eine Anmeldung erforderlich.
Während der Öffnungszeiten kannst du jederzeit den Betrieb betreten und wieder verlassen. Du kannst so lange bleiben, wie du möchtest und die durchgängige Performance auf dich wirken lassen. Du bist herzlich eingeladen mehrmals zu kommen, um zu beobachten, wie sich der Prozess entwickelt.
Hinweise
"Der Betrieb" hat von Donnerstag bis Samstag von 14 bis 19 Uhr geöffnet.
"Der Betrieb" befindet sich am Vogelweidplatz 13, 1050 Wien.
Der Vogelweidplatz ist gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen (U6, Bus 48A, Straßenbahn 9).
Der Zugang zum Betrieb ist stufenlos, es gibt jedoch keine Toilette mit Haltegriffen.
