Poetry Workshop for BIPoCs

Workshop with Fatima Sidibe

Words are powerful. Words are healing. Words are resistance.

In this exclusive Poetry Workshop for BIPoCs, we will create a safer space together – a space where language becomes a tool for self-empowerment.

My name is africandiva__ – I am an educational activist, moderator, and poet. On October 11, 2025, I invite you to join me as we dive into the world of emotions and find words for what often remains unspoken.

What to expect:

  • The meaning and history of poetry – from ancient traditions to today’s Poetry Slam
  • Rhyme techniques & metaphors – easy to learn and try out directly
  • Empowerment exercises – for more courage, visibility, and the freedom to be vulnerable
  • Tips for dealing with stage fright and nervousness
  • Creative writing & performance – your voice, your text, your stage

This workshop is exclusively for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPoCs) and offers a protected space for exchange, creativity, and self-expression.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing this experience together.
