Black woman's community
A project for the self-empowerment of black women, children and youth.
The BWC wants:
• To be a contact point and partner for black women living in Austria as well as for all other people who have interest in this target group.
• To support and initiate impulses and activities that aim for a real emancipated co-existence independent of origin, appearance, sexual orientation, lifestyle, gender, language, etc.
• To actively support and empower Austria’s black population along the road towards integration through our activities and establish direct contact with native Austrians.
• To create a framework in which family life and professional life can remain united, thereby ensuring an active politic of equality where re-entry into the profession is possible.
• To promote and express our development and increasing diversity and to give each other strength and power.
• To discover self-awareness and to address our everyday realities and stories.
