Encounters between cultures
Dialogue has made intercultural projects its business. Here a space between cultural workers from different backgrounds manifests, in which emancipated encounters between cultures happen in a participatory way. Diverse artistic directions and scientific fields are the themes of exhibitions, workshops, (slideshow) presentations, discussions, publications, radioshows and audio productions. The events are aimed at students, seniors and cultural workers from different segments of the population, and naturally all other interested people.
Dialogue was brought into being in 1989 by a group of cultural and social anthropologists, and has been located in WUK from the very beginning. Given the current very xenophobic political climate, we can only hope that the group can successfully continue their personally motivated work in the future.
