KEX Studio und WUK Projektraum
With an air of elegant grandeur, the collaborative project implicates the personal, geography, identity, migration, human rights, and racism through stories and myths of political struggle incited by the African diasporas. The exhibition consists of captivating paintings, an installation of sculptures, found objects, photography, film works, and a series of live poetry performances that will engage the audience. Religious conduct is presented like fantastic allegories of the African Renaissance. They have all the passion and torment of European influence precursors but are unmistakably of our time.
A Kunsthalle Exnergasse (KEX) Artist in Residence Program project.
