The seven core members of the group Open Ceramic are dedicated to the vitalisation and revival of old, traditional craft techniques involving the material clay, and likewise they search for new and modified ones. The central preoccupations are experiment, the individual artistic concept and realisation, and the development process of the group, which consists of both professional ceramists and interested individuals.
