 “Once a musician – always a musician” is the motto of the Vienna Seniors Orchestra. We perform Viennese music, songs and overtures from our vast archive, but also one or an other classic, and we like to rediscover old and unknown compositions.

The most important thing for this open group is the pleasure of making music together.
Musicians are always invited to join us; younger generations are also welcome. The group is especially looking for players of wind and string instruments. It is also an opportunity for younger musicians to casually find out what it is like to play in a small orchestra.
Some of our performances, to name but a few: at the Hallamash Festival in Vienna, at the “Senior aktiv” fair at the Wiener Stadthalle, as well as diverse shows for charitable organisations such as Senior Plus.
