The Bri-Ta Community
The shared connection
The goals of the Bri-Ta “Bridge and Dance Community” are to foster contact between people, to bring together the young and the old, and to stimulate mental and physical activity.
Chess with Cards
Every Monday morning twenty or more bridge enthusiasts meet and indulge in the game – of course, without any money being involved. Bridge is a fun memory game: It requires teamwork and always presents challenges with its endless number of possible combinations. Getting younger people interested in the game is also a special aim of the group. Courses for beginners are open to persons from 10 years of age on.
Square Dance
In this American folk dance a minimum of eight people perform diverse dance steps in response to the English spoken calls. In contrast to other dance forms for seniors, this dance is a far better opportunity to improve physical fitness in a group and enjoy lively music. There are regular chances for newcomers and beginners as young as 8 to step in.
