ANNETTE PFEFFERKORN
Was born 1970 in Bregenz/Austria.
Freelance dancer and performer living in Vienna.
Education as an elementary school teacher and movementanalyst (methode Cary Rick).
Since 1992 working in social and social-artistic aereas. 1999 –2003 she led together with Johanna Tatzgern social-artistic projects in Hartheim, Schön and Kunstraum Goethestrasse in Linz/Upper Austria.
1992-1998 intense examination of Contemporary Dance especially at T-Junction, Vienna.
Since 1996 soloperformances, foundation of the group O+Pfeffer und working within the Viennese performance group Lux Flux, who cooperates from 1996 to 2000 with the Saira Blanche Theatre from Moscow.
Participation at projects and performances at various festivals in Vienna (f.ex. Impuls-Festival 1998, Wiener Festwochen 1999, tanz2000.at, neuer tanz 2001), Moscow, Jaroslavl, Ekaterinburg und St.Petersburg/Russia, Odessa/Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Lisbon/Portugal, Kap Verde and New York/USA, Budapest/Hungary, Roccatederighi/Italy.
OLEG SOULIMENKO
is a russian performer and choreographer living and working in Moscow and Vienna.
In 1990 Oleg Soulimenko founded the international laboratory Saira Blanche Theatre.
Their work has been shown throughout Eastern and Western Europe and in the
United States (the 8th Annual Improvisation Festival in New York, 1999; Tanztendenzen in Greifswald, 2000; Tanz im August in Berlin, 2000; 'I'll never let you go' collaboration between Panacea Festival and Siemens Kulturprogramm in Stockholm, 2001).
Saira Blanche Theater has evolved a deep sophisticated strong and provocative performance practice of improvisation.
From 1996 until 2000 he was part of the collaboration Saira Blanche Theatre & Lux Flux from Vienna. This group researched the method of making theatre without
theatre and of producing presence without directing. Within this collaborations he performed at various festivals like Malta Festival in Poznan/Poland'98; Impuls Tanz'98 in Vienna; Wiener Festwochen in Vienna '99; Tanz 2000.at in Vienna.
In 1999 he was part of developing the project 'Highway 101' in 'Laboratorium' in Antwerpen and of 'Crashlanding' in Moscow with Meg Stuart & Damaged Goods.
Oleg did solo performances in festivals like 'Blue Note' in Braunschweig, 'Trajectory' in Moscow, 'Moving Target Series' in San Francisco.
Within the project 'Calling' in Tanzquartier Wien he did the performance installation 'The memory matrix of everyday gesture'.
2002 he collaborated with Tanzquartier Wien organising and creating the project 'East meets West'.
Oleg also cooperates with visual artists, dancers and musicians such as Daniel Aschwanden & Bilderwerfer(A), Daniel Lepkoff(USA), Heinz-Erick Godeke( D), Lidia
Kavina (RUS), Lisa Nelson( USA), Steve Paxton(USA),Markus Schinwald(A), Meg Stuart & Damaged Goods(USA/B).
Within O+Pfeffer Oleg and Annette did duets like "Neutrale Gewässer" in Vienna,
"Was sich unter der Haut versteckt" in Odessa and "Duett" in Italy.
In summer 1996 they found the "Laboratory of Dance and Theatre-Improvisation BU" in the WUK-Studios.
In february 1999 O+Pfeffer organised the improvisation festival "Take a focus".
2001 Annette performed "Sie macht eine Performance" in the festival "neuer tanz 2001" in WUK.
2002 Oleg and Annette did the performance "substitution" within the festival "Lange Nacht der Museen".
2003 they realized the project "Superseed" in St. Petersburg within an exchange project beetween WUK and Pushkinskaja 10.
