The ttp WUK (dancetheatreperformance WUK) is a self-managed collective in the WUK “Werkstätten und Kulturhaus” in Vienna. 26 groups from the independent scene active in the fields of theatre, dance and performance have a place to work here. The ttp WUK offers a subsidised space for production, research and training, which includes 3 rehearsal spaces, an office with computer, Internet access and telephone, as well as technical equipment (video, DVD player, beamer) available for use.
The ttp WUK sends a weekly newsletter (Tuesday Mail) about internal topics and general information from the theatre, dance and performance scene, and provides a shared email address databank for the promotion of events by the ttp groups.
The ttp WUK supports the artists initiative Im_flieger and is active in the network of WUK’s diverse sectors, whereby interdisciplinary projects, continuous publications and festivals are generated.
The ttp WUK offers the potential of a freely available space and thereby a position in its self-managed structure. The readiness to actively participate in the organisation is an admission requirement.
The
ttp WUK is democratically organised: The plenary meeting of all groups is the highest decision-making entity; a
collective consisting of seven people as well as representatives from the areas of finance, communication and artistic work make decisions on current issues and organise the ttp workgroup.
