The autonomous sector Visual Art provides two Artist in Residence Studios.

Studio 1 is available for the duration of twelve months with an open call once a year. A selection committee consisting of members of the sector will decide about the allocation.

Studio 2 is available for the duration of three months, the allocation follows the ranking of applications on the plenary meetings.

 

A condition for guest studio 1 is personal attendance at the jury sitting and possibly repeated visits to the plenary meeting for guest studio 2. Furthermore, an own living space in Vienna will be needed.

The autonomous sector Workshops provides three Artist in Residence Studios (17m², 24m², 43m²). Each one is available for one year and publicly announced through an open call. The selection committee which decides over the allocation is nominated by members of the sector.

The sector Workshops understands itself both as experimental ground and production facility open to traditional craftsmanship as well as innovative, creative and interdisciplinary projects.
