KuKeLe’s mission is to break down prejudices and support the development of understandings between people from different cultures. In light of the existing xenophobia and the growing fears of many people it is urgently necessary to fill in the information gaps about foreign cultures, to clear up common misunderstandings, and to become familiar with the “foreign”.

Support Committee for Politically Persecuted Foreigners
Founded in 1985 by Iranian refugees under the name Support Committee and located in WUK ever since, Asyl in Not (Asylum In Need) is one of the most important counsel centres for asylum seekers in Austria.
House of the Book
The Iranian Culture House was founded 18 years ago and today is an independent association. Its space on the second floor of staircase 2 is a meeting point primarily for young people of Persian origin. There is a diverse programme of cultural activities.
