Community Service
As a provider facility with a long tradition in Vienna, the WUK accepts community service applicants in the sectors of culture, administration and education. Our community service workers assist us with the care and maintenance of the house, technical work for the preparation and realisation of music, theatre and Culture for Kids events, marketing and accounting tasks, child care and much more.
Everyone considering a community service position at WUK should have an open attitude towards people of all age groups, nationalities and social backgrounds. Team spirit, readiness to help and reliability are additional important requirements. An educational background in the following areas would be of advantage: technology (polytechnic school, technical apprenticeship), accounting (commercial high school, higher economic school), culture or social affairs.
Community service at WUK provides insights into cultural management, behind-the-scene event productions and the co-existence of a wide range of autonomous artistic and social groups under one roof.
